Home Based Business

CW BOOKINGAN HOTEL

Don't Start Your Home Based Business Like Bill Gates. Home Based Business - Don't Start In Your Garage. I recall a standing joke with my father-in-law that he kept so much junk in his garage that he could never park his car there. Well that "junk" was his livelihood. He was a carpenter and most of his tools and a lot of wood got piled in the garage.

I imagine it was somewhat the same with Bill Gates. He had tables, chairs, tools and electronic parts all over the place. He probably ran in and out of his house many times a day. But his perseverance paid off in a big way. He remained focused on his dream and never lost site of his direction.
Nowadays, there are two kinds of home based businesses. There are some businesses that require you to carry inventory (product) and some that don't. But there are also two types or categories of home based businesses: those that you work at home (like Bill Gates did) or those that you work from home (like a carpet cleaning business). The easiest way to tell is time. Do you spend more time at home generating income or just doing your books?

With the price of gas constantly rising, doesn't it make more sense to spend time at home? And doesn't it make sense to choose a company that does not require you to use your garage for storage of inventory?
Home Based Business - End Like Bill Gates
Whenever you start any venture, you should always have the end in mind. It's called an exit strategy in the business world. Bill Gates had one and is living it now.
So how do you NOT start like Bill Gates, but end like Bill Gates?
Let's take a look at how to accomplish this.
1. Find a company that you can work at home. Find one that doesn't require much travel. The less travel required of you, the better.
2. This company must have the makings of Microsoft if you want to end like Gates. You must investigate the company, its owners and its history. You want to look at the current and future market and if this company can sustain the expected market trends.
3. Ask questions to see if anyone in the company is as wildly successful as Bill Gates.
4. If you want to be wildly successful like Bill, partner with others who are on that same road to success.
5. You have planned the work, now you have to work the plan. Microsoft didn't happen overnight and neither will your business. But if you find the right one, a business whose owners have tackled the toughest barriers for you, then you are on the right track.
Whether your home based business in the North, South, East, or West choosing the right company is paramount to your success.
